Anathoth House, Inc... a field of restoration, Jer. 32
In a perfect world, everyone, regardless of race, creed, or class, would be treated equally, but we know that standard doesn't hold true today. Too often, the poverty stricken are neglected; they are the forgotten who lead deficient lifestyles, tday after day, year after year, generation after generation.
In 2008, Minister Gerald Alston and his wife, Tracey, visited the Washington DC metropolitan area, handing out warm and nutritious meals to the men and women who sat in our nation's parks. Month after month, they continued distributing nourishment to those in need. They eventually expanded their food distribution to the homeless community of Southern Maryland. Along with food, they passed out survival kits that included tents, sleeping bags, blankets, etc. The ongoing need was apparent, so in 2010, Anathoth House, Inc. a ministry of restoration was established.
Starting in 2019, our operation was moved to Henderson, North Carolina, where we have set up a brick and mortar establishment. We continue to serve individuals and families with groceries, toiletries, and temporary housing, if necessary.
As we meet their practical needs, we minister the Word of God as we fully believe reading, meditating and applying the Gospel will help bring forth the abundant life the Word has declared for us.
Anathoth House would like to thank you for your continuous support. Your prayers, support and donations enable us to continue to be an extension of God's hands and feet, reaching and aiding those who are less fortunate and whose voices often go unheard. It is a wondrous testimony when we all come together for one common purpose.
We thank you for visiting us and may the Lord bless you always.
Matthew 25: 34-36
Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.
